StarCraft II is going free to play on November 14th

Sadly, the full single player experience is not available for free but Blizzard have made the first chapter, Wings of Liberty, available and it’s essentially a full release title on it’s own. This is great news for anyone who might have wanted to try the real time strategy title but were unwilling to fork out the cash for it.

On top of that, StarCraft 2 free to play includes the full multiplayer experience and the ability to play through the available campaign in competitive coop. Let’s just hope it doesn’t get flooded with the standard microtransaction fare that Activision are simply awful at.
