The E3 StreamWatch Timeline

Oh god. It’s Saturday night already and we haven’t even got a news post detailing how we’re going to cover E3. How did that sneak up on us?

WE’RE DOING A LIVESTREAM.

AGAIN.

That I haven’t written this yet is probably more (or less?) surprising when you consider the ridiculous industry efforts to hype everything gaming this week. Here I am writing an article for something that is happening in close to 24 hours. Ugh.

So, uh, scream “FALLOUT FUCKING FOUR!” at the top of your lungs and if you like you can also read about our E3 coverage plans:

Oh god. Did you just say the Bethesda conference starts at 3am? How is anyone expected to stay up for that? I guess I’m going to have to cut out a few hours from my regular beard maintenance routine the next morning. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, as they say. We’ll be streaming at http://www.twitch.tv/OneHundredXP from 11PM onwards.

I’ll be joined by The Interactivist’s Tom Wood and our own Crease Pegg. In the lead up to the Bethesda conference we’ll be talking about what they’ll likely be showing, what we’re anticipating most and why exactly the answer to that question is Fallout 4.

At somewhere between 12 midnight and 1am we’ll be joined by Nick from Pixel Metal Studios to talk about his upcoming indie title Sombrero and possibly more.

At somewhere between 3am and us falling asleep there will be the actual conference. Not to get too Mystery Science Theatre on you, but we’ll be providing our own backing track to the conference shortly before our brains realize how overrated consciousness really is.

Monday should be a simpler affair, with the conferences starting at a more gentlemanly hour. At 5:30 in the afternoon we have the Microsoft show, so we’ll be prepping early and starting our livestream at around 4:30. Pizzas in, presumably, and a whole lot of chatting about what we’ve already seen from Bethesda and Microsoft before the EA show at 9pm.

After that at 11pm we have Ubisoft and finally, much later into the evening at 2am the Sony show will start.

We’re gonna be with you through all of it, or maybe we wont but if we do fall asleep we’ll be with you in spirit. Hopefully, we can all help each other stay awake for it – including you, by tuning in tomorrow and monday and getting involved.

See you then!
